Information about HPSG 2008

Dear Members of the HPSG Community,

HPSG 2008 will take place on July 28-29 in Japan, more precisely at the 
Knowledge Creating Communication Research Center (NICT) in the Keihanna 
region (near ATR and the NTT CS labs):

The closest airport is in Kansai International Aiport (Osaka).

HPSG 2008 begins right after next year's International Congress of 
Linguists in Seoul, Korea which will be held from 21-Jul-2008 - 
26-Jul-2008 (http://www.cil18.org/home.htm). This was done on purpose to 
allow people from Europe and the US to attend both conferences with one 
trip to Asia.

Shuichi Yatabe has agreed to serve as program chair. The local 
organizers are Takao Gunji and Fancis Bond. On behalf of the Standing 
Conference Committee, I would like to thank them very much for taking 
over those tasks!

More specific information will be announced soon.

HPSG 2009 will be held in Göttingen and HPSG 2010 in France.
