The University of Arizona has a 1 year visiting position in Computational
linguistics for this fall. The official description is below. We're
ideally looking for someone with strengths in statistical approaches, but
we're open to any qualified candidate.

The University of Arizona, Linguistics Department seeks applications for a
full-time non-tenure track Visiting Assistant Professor position. The
teaching involves 4 courses, including Ling 178 (Mathematics of Language
and Linguistics) and TBA for Fall 2008; either Ling 439/539 (Statistical
Natural Language Processing) and/or Ling 581 (Advanced Computational
Linguistics) and/or TBA for Spring 2009, contingent on availability of
funding. The candidate is expected/encouraged to participate in research,
discussion groups, and other activities in the department. UA benefits
