HPSG2013 Thanks!

Dear Colleagues

On behalf of the Standing Committee for the International HPSG Conference, I would like to thank a number of people for making this year's conference and the associated workshop and tutorial such an enjoyable and interesting event. Of course, thanks are due to everyone involved (the programme committee who reviewed submisions, the speakers who attended and gave the papers, and the audience members who listened and engaged in discussion). But I think particular thanks are due to:

- Jesse Tseng, who as programme chair was responsible for putting together what was, by common assent, a really enjoyable programme;

- Stefan Mueller, who lead the local organising team who produced such a smooth running event in such a pleasant and appropriate environment. 

I had a very good time. And I think everyone else did too.

As usual, there was a business meeting at the conference, there was some discussion of social media, and how to use them (I will mail more about that in due course)., but the main item on the agenda was to report that we have received, and accepted, a bid to host HPSG 2014 from  Rui Chavez and Jean-Pierre Koenig in Buffalo, New York.
