Grammar development: Multilingual aspects of the syntax-semantics interface
Research Workshop of the Israel Science Foundation
Beit Daniel, Zichron Ya'akov, Israel, June 23-25, 2015
<http://www.openu.ac.il/GRAMMAR2015/> http://www.openu.ac.il/GRAMMAR2015/
General information
This workshop is intended as a forum for the discussion of issues related to
the development of large-scale precision grammars. It will cover various
aspects of grammar design and development, with a special emphasis on the
universal and language-specific aspects of grammar, particularly in the
domain of the syntax-semantics interface.
The workshop welcomes studies on a variety of natural languages. It will to
serve as a meeting where researchers working on different aspects of grammar
development can exchange ideas, report on recent and on-going work and
discuss future directions.
The workshop will span three days. It is scheduled to immediately follow the
Israeli Seminar on Computational Linguistics (ISCOL
<http://www.openu.ac.il/ISCOL2015/> ), which will be held on Monday
22/6/2015 at the Open University campus in Ra'anana. We hope that the
juxtaposition of the two events will promote dialog and exchange of ideas
between researchers of both communities.
