FINAL CALL FOR PAPERS

The ACL Special Interest Group on Natural Language Parsing (SIGPARSE)
invites submissions to its biennual conference on parsing technologies.
IWPT 2015 will be the 14th conference in a series that started in 1989.
The conference will be held between July 22 and July 24, 2015, in the
city center of beautiful Bilbao (Spain), hosted by the University of
the Basque Country. Please mark your calendars!

CONFERENCE HIGHLIGHTS

As part of the main conference, there will be two invited keynotes:

+ Large-scale Semantic Parsing as Graph Matching
Mirella Lapata, University of Edinburgh, UK

+ Towards Universal Syntactic Processing of Natural Language
  Slav Petrov, Google, USA

Interleaved with the main conference, there will be the 6th Workshop on
Statistical Parsing of Morphologically Rich Languages (SPMRL), with its
own invited speaker:

SUBMISSIONS

IWPT addresses all aspects of structural analysis of natural language,
including methods, evaluation, and applications. Please see the IWPT
2015 web site for a non-exhaustive list of example topics of interest.

We invite paper submissions in two distinct tracks:

+ regular papers on substantial, original, and unpublished research,
including empirical evaluation results, where appropriate; and

+ short papers on smaller, focused contributions, work in progress,
negative results, surveys, or opinion pieces.

Papers accepted for presentation at the conference will be included in
the IWPT 2015 proceedings, which will be published by the ACL. After
the conference, a selection of papers in extended and revised form will
be published as a special issue of the Journal of Language Modeling.

SCHEDULE

+ Friday, May 8, 2015: Submission of Papers
+ Friday, June 12, 2015: Notification of Acceptance
+ Friday, June 26, 2015: Camera-Ready Manuscripts
+ Wednesday to Friday, July 22 to 24, 2015: Conference

FORMATS

IWPT 2015 provides style files for preparation of manuscripts in LaTeX
(preferred), Libre Office, or MS Word; templates are now available for
download from the conference web site (see above). Submissions must
follow these styles, which adopt the ACL tradition of two-column layout
on A4-sized paper.

Submissions must be anonymous, i.e. not reveal author(s) on the title
page or through self-references. Papers must be submitted digitally,
in PDF, and uploaded through the on-line conference system, which will
open in early April. Paper submissions that violate either of these
requirements will be returned without review.

The page limits for submissions are: up to nine pages of content for
regular papers, and up to four pages of content for short papers; any
additional number of pages can be used for bibliographic references.

Papers must be submitted electronically through the START conference
management system; the submission site is open at:
