Hi everybody,
Long time no discussion of content on this list ...
Bob and me coauthored a paper and we made claims about HPSG
practitioners and the assumption of innate domain specific knowledge
about language. I reviewer remarked correctly that this is an
impressionistic statement and that we did not do a poll on this. So here
is the poll:
Do you assume innate domain-specific knowledge?
1) yes, in print, it is part of my analysis (please provide reference)
2) yes, but my analyses do not rely on this
3) I did so but changed my mind in YEAR
4) no
Could you please reply to me till Friday and I will then post a summary
and we can discuss this on the list (if there is interest)
Thanks! =:-)
Best wishes
Stefan
