Book Description:
The volume illustrates and accurately describes standard Chinese, in its two registers, colloquial and formal, as it is spoken, written, studied and taught in China today and abroad, with particular attention to Italian learners. To this end, the authors have highlighted the grammatical aspects that they consider, thanks to their teaching experience, to be more difficult for Italian speakers, providing (when considered relevant) contrastive descriptions. Grammatica della Lingua Cinese is a modern, up-to-date and easy-to-consult reference text for intermediate-advanced level students. Therefore, the book is a valuable didactic support for instructors in planning their courses for the teaching of Mandarin Chinese.

The authors will be present to discuss the main aspects of their work, and the debate will be moderated by Prof. Giuseppe Balirano (University of Naples l'Orientale and President of the University Language Centre [CLAOR]).
