Dear all,

We are pleased to share the Call for Papers for a special issue of the Journal of Applied Linguistics and Languages in Educational Digital Settings (ALLiED Journal), entitled "New Trends in English Language Teaching, Learning and Education", edited by Giuseppe Balirano (University of Naples L’Orientale), Gašper Ilc (University of Ljubljana) and Tania Zulli (G. d’Annunzio University of Chieti-Pescara).

The special issue explores current developments in English Language Teaching in light of ongoing pedagogical, technological, and sociolinguistic transformations, inviting contributions that examine emerging trends in ELT, with particular attention to digital learning environments, multilingualism, innovative teaching practices, artificial intelligence, corpus-informed approaches, online assessment, and sustainable and inclusive models of language education.

Full article submission due: 15 May 2026

Submission details:
- Articles should be written in English
- Length: 7,000–8,000 words (references excluded)
