This seminar, Echoes of Hate: Negative Solidarity in Contemporary Communication, explored how hostility operates not only through isolated acts of aggression, but also as a social and discursive force capable of generating alignment, affiliation, and shared identities. The discussion examined how hateful and harmful meanings are echoed, amplified, and normalised across digital and media environments, with particular attention to multimodal and platform-specific communicative practices.
