We are pleased to share with you the Save the Date for the 10th edition of the Languaging Diversity International Conference, which will take place at the University of Naples L'Orientale from 8 to 10 June 2027.

The theme of the conference will be "Back to the Future: Languaging Diversity in an Age of Instability, Mobility, and Transformation".

The return of Languaging Diversity to Naples, where the conference series first began in 2013, marks an important milestone for our Centre. It offers an opportunity not only to reflect on the intellectual trajectory of the conference series, but also to reconsider the urgent challenges that shape contemporary discourse, identity negotiation, exclusion, belonging, and representation. The image of Vesuvius chosen for the Save the Date poster symbolically evokes this thematic focus: a landscape in which beauty and precarity coexist, and where transformation is both a historical force and a present condition.

We would be grateful if you could help us circulate the Save the Date through your academic networks and institutional channels.
