Beaumont Foundation of America funding for school computers

The Beaumont Foundation of America is making $350 million
Availabin in Toshiba computer equipment to schools, non-profits and
communities in 2003.

The funder provides computer grants under 3 categories:  a)  Communiyy
grants for organizations serving low-income people; 200-2000 grants of
$20,000-$100,000. b) Education grants for K-12 private parochial or
charter schools where at least 50% of the students qualify for Nat'l
School Lunch program and where staff promote tech-based solutions;
100-350 grants of $60,000-$200,000 each. c) Individual grants for
people in 21 states ad the District of Columbia.  Grants for the
remaining states will be available in 2004 (see website for full list)
