The Myaamia Project Revitalizes Miami Indian Language - Part One

A project to recover a Native American language will get a boost this
spring with the publication of a dictiionary. The Miami Tribe of
Oklahoma and Miami University in Oxford combined tribal knowledge with
University resources to bring back a language that was spoken
through-out much of Ohio and Indiana prior to statehood. It's the
Myaamia Project.
