ok here is my two beads worth.  It is pricey, that is a given.  But  
it is a tool, and as such has the capability to be a wonderful  
resources, much like any tool, in the hands of the right person.

I imagine it being used to facilitate conversations in an immersion  
setting when you cant think of what you want to say, there it is.  It  
certainly is not the be all and end all.  But I think that every  
tribal language department ought to have one and see how they make  
use of it.  maybe get the gates foundation to do a mass purchase or  
better yet purchase the rights and distribute them free of charge.
