Australian Indigenous Languages Database

This is a belated announcement of release of AUSTLANG, online Australian 
Indigenous Languages Database. It was released from AIATSIS (Australian 
Institute of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Studies) December last 
year. AUSTLANG (http://austlang.aiatsis.gov.au) is a unique web-based 
resource on Australian Indigenous languages. It assembles information 
about Australian Indigenous languages, offering a one-stop web site where 
users can search for an Indigenous language, view information about the 
language from various sources and find resources available on the 
language. It is a first online database which provides information about 
all (or near all) Australian Indigenous languages and dialects reported to 
exist or existed. Your feedback is very much appreciated.
