Oh. Well, the university was certainly sponsoring what most members
of group A perceive as enemy witchcraft. I don't think that the
university was deliberately engaging in what its administration
considered to be witchcraft. On the other hand, the administration
didn't give a hoot about this once it was explained to them. I
think that they felt that as long as they were putting on a good
show of accomodating native interests and group A was not complaining
publicly and making trouble, everything was good.
