Aborigines united by lost language

SONGS in a local Aboriginal language once thought to be lost will be sung by
people from all walks of life at the Yugambeh Corroboree tomorrow.

Corroboree director Rory O'Connor said Yugambeh choirmaster, Candace Kruger,
will be joined on stage by local choirmaster Tanna Kjaer-Dona to perform the
Yugambeh songs.

"This is an exciting development for our community," he said.
