'Tribal Voice Radio' broadcasting now

According to the Juneau Empire, a new online radio station, "Tribal
Voice Radio," focusing on Tlingit, Haida and Tsimshian news, heritage
and languages launched this morning (2/15) at 8 a.m. The project was
approved last December by the Central Council Tlingit and Haida Indian
Tribes of Alaska The station's mission statement gives a concise
statement of its major goals: "Preserving our sovereignty, enhancing
our economic and cultural resources, and promoting self-sufficiency
and self-governance for our citizens through collaboration, service,
and advocacy."
