Mid north coast indigenous language wins U-N recognition

The U-N's Media Peace Award 2010 has been given to former Senator Aden
Ridgeway for an article on reconciliation.

The editorial in the Gumbaynggirr language was the first of its kind
to run on the Sydney Morning Herald's (SMH) front page in its 178 year
history.
