Becky Bending passes

   Dear all,
   The Endangered Language Fund regretfully reports the passing of  
Rebecca Diane Bending. Becky was a founding member of the Endangered  
Language Fund's Board of
Directors.  She generously shared her knowledge of language  
revitalization and her enthusiasm for language communities. We would  
like to extend our condolences to Ray, Ray Jr., and all of Becky's
