APTN series teaches Cree language

The sound of Dennis Thomas' voice carries over the water of Indian Arm
as he sings traditional songs of the Tsleil-Waututh nation, and soon
it will be heard in living rooms across the country.

Thomas, the project manager at Takaya Tours in Cates Park, will be
featured in an upcoming episode of the APTN children's series Tansi!
Nehiyawetan, which means "Hello! Let's Speak Cree" in Cree, a show
that's designed to introduce youth to the language, words and culture.
