The abstracts, handouts, and PowerPoints for the LSA Symposium on
Developing Orthographies for Unwritten Languages are now posted at:
http://www.sil.org/linguistics/2011LSASymposium/ . Papers were divided
between general concept papers (non-linguistic factors in
orthographies, phonological depth and orthographies, tone and
orthographies), and specific case studies from different areas of the
world (Mexico, California, Nepal, and southeast Asia).
