Picture dictionaries keep language alive

INDIGENOUS language and culture are being salvaged by picture dictionaries.

The Papunya community, 240km north west of Alice Springs, has
celebrated the rejuvenation of their traditional Luritja language with
the launch of the 10th picture dictionary released from publishing
house IAD Press.
