The knowledge of Aboriginal elders from 17 traditional owner groups across
outback Queensland has been recorded in a new project.
Desert Channels Queensland (DCQ) has coordinated the One Step Back, Two
Steps Forward project which has been launched in Birdsville in the state's
far south-west.
It has seen traditional ecological knowledge about land management and
biodiversity digitally recorded.
