Mazhvydas (1547) has /jem/, Bretkunas (1591, his native language might have
been Prussian)) has /jamui/, Dauksha (1599) /jam/.
These attestations, at the beginning of Lithuanian writing, are too close
to each other to infer any chronological hypothesis from them. However,
that the pronominal Dative singular was, in Proto-Baltic, longer than just
-m, viz. at least -mu is documented by Prussian forms such as /kasmu/,
/tenne:ismu/, /schismu/ aso.
