The evidence to make a definite determination about these matters dos not
yet seem to be present so these ideas are all purely speculative.

As for 'throw (a rider)', I had a connection more along the lines of 'move
quickly' / 'cause to move quickly' in mind, rightly or wrongly.

-m is not currently recognized as a formant for Egyptian though I believe
there are other examples of it as an elative (for example in sDm, 'hear',
which I connect with IE *sta:-mo- and Hittite iStamaS-, 'hear').
