European Portuguese has a phonemic opposition between a dental *flap* /r/
and a uvular *vibrant* /R/. Compare <caro> /karo/ 'dear, expensive' to
<carro> /kaRo/ 'car'. But I suppose that is not quite what you are looking
for.
