Not very new, but perhaps useful for some discussions: Richard Schrodt, Die
germanische Lautverschiebung und ihre Stellung im Kreise der
indogermanischen Sprachen, 2. Aufl. Wien 1976 (without Vennemanns theories,
which came later).
