We'd like to encourage our colleagues to submit proposals for the 1999 ASHA
Convention.  We have made several changes in the format for submissions and
evaluation criteria in order to encourage research presentations and
highlight the role of science in the discipline of communication sciences
and disorders.  Proposals will be received at the ASHA office until March 15
or can be submitted on-line until March 29, 1999.  For more information and
