bibliographic requests

Jane Edwards gives very good advice about expanding searches.
In checking between different sources, it has been a surprise to
discover how very limited any one of them is.
For example, Psych Abstracts primarily lists items from the
American Psychological Association journals, and books which
publishers send to them. This means that publications in cross-
disciplinary fields like child language are just left out, and you
need to use other sources.
Another question, which of the sources Edwards mentioned can be
accessed from the web from other countries, and what are their
URL's? Some kinds of bibliographic sources involve library
passwords and may not be reachable from everywhere.
