Sincere thanks for the many responses to my request for Barbara Pearson
Zurer's current e-mail.   It was good to be back in touch with her and
other colleagues and friends at UMass and around different places in the
US and Europe

Let us hope the new year (which starts tomorrow night on the Hebrew
calendar) will proceed better for the world than the one which just
ended.
