Research Assistant Position

The Carolina Communication Project  is seeking a full-time Research
Assistant (RA) for a multidisciplinary research project examining the
communication skills of young males with fragile X syndrome and Down
syndrome.  The study is being conducted at the Frank Porter Graham Child
Development Institute at the University of North Carolina at Chapel
Hill.  As a member of the research project staff, the RA will assist
with the children's language assessments.  Requirements include two
years experience working with children with developmental disabilities.
The position involves travel throughout North Carolina, Georgia, South
Carolina, Maryland, and Virginia of approximately 5-6 nights per month.
