Research Position Communication Study

We are seeking a full-time Research Assistant (RA) for a new
communication study examining the speech and language skills of young
males with fragile X syndrome and Down syndrome.  The study is being
conducted at the Frank Porter Graham Child Development Institute at the
University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.  As a member of the
research project staff, the RA will assist with the children's language
assessments.  The position includes travel with a staff member to
children's homes and schools in Georgia, Maryland, North Carolina, South
Carolina, and Virginia.  Travel expenses are covered by the project.
Requirements include two years experience working with children with
developmental disabilities and availability for travel of approximately
5-6 nights per month.
