The volume develops a developmental social constructionist stance toward
emotions and presents an empirical analysis of emotional talk based on
CHILDES. Throughout the book a social constructionist framework will be
worked out and applied parallel to a developmental perspective. The
originality of this approach to emotions represented by the following
theoretical and empirical investigations lies in an attempt to adopt a
binocular vision of psychology as a discipline which takes as its subject
human beings as developing social beings.
