Factors affecting visuo-spatial construction and drawing ability in
Williams syndrome.
Applications are invited for a full-time PhD studentship funded by the
ESRC and the Williams Syndrome Foundation to investigate the factors
affecting visuo-spatial construction and drawing ability in Williams
syndrome. Visuo-spatial construction and drawing are particularly poor
in Williams syndrome, a rare genetic disorder. You will conduct
experimental studies to investigate the influence of several underlying
processes and strategies involved in these areas of cognition in
Williams syndrome. Additional information is available from Dr Emily

This PhD studentship covers tuition fees for three years, and provides a
stipend to the student of a minimum of £15,000 per annum (2006 figures
are not yet available)for three years.
