The University of Applied Sciences Fresenius in Germany is an officially
recognized private educational institution. It offers innovative courses of
studies and trainings in the faculties chemistry and biology, health and
business and media in Idstein, Cologne, Hamburg, Munich, Darmstadt, Zwickau
and Vienna.

At the location in Idstein/Taunus, the post of the head of department of the
department of speech and language therapy/logopedics is vacant (full-time
position).

The postholder will be responsible for running the department and
supervising taught programmes, the course of studies and examinations. In
addition, he/she will be responsible for fiscal management of the
department, personnel issues and faculty/staff development. University
marketing and recruitment of students are further fields of work as well as
participation in self-administration and quality-management.

Applications are invited for a postdoctoral researcher in the field of
speech and language pathology and education. Candidates should hold a
postdoctoral qualification and/or have a relevant research background in
communication sciences research. Sound practice knowledge as well as
experience in leading, research and teaching are necessary.
Once all the criteria for nominations for professorships have been fulfilled
(according to the regulations required by the Hessian Ministry for Science
and Arts) then a professorship position will be awarded.
