Dear Ziyan,
Chinese characters are well accepted by all of the components of
CLAN. Also there is a MOR lexicon for automatic recognition of both
Cantonese (traditional) and Mandarin (simplified). And there is a
POST database for automatic disambiguation of both. In other words,
all of these systems work fine. To learn more about them, please go
to http://childes.psy.cmu.edu/morgrams/
If you have specific problems with these things, please either
contact me directly or else post questions to the chibolts at googlegroups.com
mailing list. It is best to use these other channels to avoid
clogging up the info-childes mailing list with technical questions
about CLAN. Many thanks.
