The Department of Psychology is seeking applicants to fill a full-
time, end-date position as Research Assistant I on an NIH-supported
research project comparing the processes of language development in
typically developing children and children with autism under the
supervision of Dr. Letitia Naigles.

Responsibilities include data collection (off-site at children's
homes), entry, and analysis; subject recruitment and scheduling;
maintenance of subject files and correspondence; and coordination of
lab activities.

 Required qualifications of the desired candidate would be excellent
organizational and interpersonal skills and basic computer literacy. A
Bachelor's degree in speech pathology, psychology, linguistics, or a
related discipline, supplemented by one or more years of experience in
the conduct of health or natural/social science research or equivalent
combination of education and experience is required. At least one year
of experience working with children and their families is required.
Experience with children on the autistic spectrum is desirable.
