The Childhood Bilingualism Research Centre (CBRC) at the Chinese
University of Hong Kong is pleased to announce that The Bilingual
Child: Early Development and Language Contact, by Virginia Yip and
Stephen Matthews (Cambridge University Press, 2007) has received the
Leonard Bloomfield Book Award 2009 from the Linguistic Society
