Dear Kathleen,

I can suggest a parental report instrument that targets the first 100  
different communicative uses. It may or may not be advanced enough for  
your needs, I don't know.

Ninio, A. and Goren, H. (1993). PICA-100: Parental Interview on 100  
Communicative Acts. Coding manual distributed by the Department of  
Psychology, The Hebrew University, Jerusalem, Israel.
