professional video transcription?

I agree completely with Marilyn - effective transcription of very young children requires training.  I also think that transcribers with some linguistics background will be better at transcribing non-standard dialects since they will have been introduced to the prescriptive vs. descriptive distinction.  My final comment is about transcription format.  It would be far more efficient to transcribe using CHAT in the first place.
