THE UNIVERSITY OF PITTSBURGH, DEPARTMENT OF HISPANIC LANGUAGES AND
LITERATURES is seeking applicants for a one-year appointment as Lecturer
qualified to teach all levels of Spanish at the undergraduate level,
pending budgetary approval.

The appointment would begin in Fall 2002, with the possibility of
renewal.

ABD or Ph.D. and native or near-native fluency required.  Background in
Hispanic Linguistics preferred.

The teaching load is six courses per academic year including (but not
limited to) Spanish Reading, Conversation, Grammar and Composition, and
Advanced Composition.
