LECTURER/SENIOR LECTURER IN SPANISH
Applications are invited for the above tenured position to develop and
teach the University's newly established Spanish programme from 1
April 2003.

Candidates should have native or near native fluency (written and
spoken) in both Spanish and English and have completed or be near
completing, a PhD in a related area. It is also desirable that  the
successful appointee have experience teaching Spanish at a tertiary
level.

A fixed term lectureship position is also available from 1 October
2002 to 31 July 2003 to teach a summer school course in Spanish
literature and culture and to develop and teach an introductory
language course in the first semester 2003. The fixed term lecturer
could also be considered for the continuing position.
