   Lecturer in Hispanic Studies (Reference: 6453)

The University is seeking to appoint a permanent lectureship in Modern
Languages from 1 September 2003. The successful candidates will have
at least near-native command of the language concerned, including the
ability to teach non-language courses through the medium of that
language and English. They will have proven research interests and
outstanding research potential and have completed, or be close to
completing, a PhD or its equivalent.

For Hispanic Studies, preference will be given to candidates offering
specialisms in medieval or Golden Age literature.

The starting salary will be between £23,296 and £26,270.
