Description:

The Copy/Translation Associate is an entry level position within the
Client Services area with a strong focus on copy editing and language
experience/interest. Will be expected to learn aspects of client project
management as well as handle various administrative, copy editing and
translation-related tasks. The Associate will work on brands with a need
for Latin American, Canadian and Brazilian knowledge. Proofreading
assistance will occasionally be required. Will learn Landor's branding
practices and apply this knowledge in preparing print and packaging
details. Assists in project coordination with production, design,
research, and naming teams.

The Copy/Translation Associate will need to be able to juggle multiple
tasks in this ever-changing business, yet remain focused on quality and
accuracy in tasks performed. There is hardly ever a dull moment! The
Copy/Translation Associate will have constant interaction with people
and have the opportunity to exercise problem solving skills, as the path
is never smooth.

Ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in English, a Foreign
Language, or Communication, professional work/intern experience, a
trong interest in language (experience in Spanish, French, or Portuguese
a huge plus - preferably for Latin America, Canada, and Brazil,
respectively), ability and interest in learning to work with a
translation memory software program, excellent communication skills,
strong initiative, a keen eye for detail, strong organizational skills,
strong writing, editing, and presentation skills, high energy, and a
strong interest in brands, marketing, advertising, and other related
communications areas.
