Tenure-track Assistant Professor of Spanish language and Latin American 
Literatures and Cultures, with a specialization in 19^th and early 20^th 
Century Latin American literature.

Required: Ph.D., demonstrated excellence in research, teaching, and 
native or near-native fluency in both Spanish and English.

Desirable: Ability to teach Spanish-American /Modernismo/, 
Spanish-American civilization and culture, and courses in U.S. Latino 
literature and civilization.  We welcome contemporary approaches to 
teaching and research.
