Description:
The Department of Humanities at the University of Toronto 
Scarborough invites applications for a full-time appointment in 
Spanish at the level of Lecturer, starting July 1, 2007 and 
ending June 30, 2008. The position involves teaching 
undergraduate language courses at all levels and co-ordinating 
language course offerings. The position is renewable annually and 
assessment for promotion to a continuing Senior Lecturer rank may 
take place in the fifth year.

Requirements:
PhD in Spanish as a Second Language, Spanish Studies, or the 
equivalent (completed as of 1 July 2007); expertise in one or 
more of the following: second language acquisition, second 
language pedagogy, and/or linguistics; experience in teaching 
Spanish as a second language; an excellent teaching dossier; 
excellent command of Spanish and an aptitude for teamwork.

sent directly to Professor Bowen.
