We welcome papers dealing with any theoretical aspect of Hispanic or Lusophone
Linguistics including but not limited to sociolinguistics, pragmatics,
phonetics, phonology, morphology, psycholinguistics, semantics and syntax. Talks
will be allotted 20 minutes for presentation and 10 minutes for discussion.

Abstracts written in English, Spanish or Portuguese should be anonymous, and no
more than 500 words in length. They should be sent as a pdf attachment with the
subject LINGUISTICS CONGRESS by e-mail to: symposium_sppo at osu.edu by December 5,
2008 with the following information contained in the body of the email:
- Name Affiliation
- Email address
- Linguistic subfield
- Paper title
