I'd like to take this opportunity to thank Jan Wohlgemuth for setting up
the ISMIL list, and to encourage all ISMIL list subscribers to make use
of the list in any appropriate ways.

I will inaugurate the list right away, with the announcement for ISMIL
9, and other adjacent events of possible interest to ISMIL 9
particpants.  (With apologies for multiple postings.)
