[LAP] Some points

Dear members of the LAP mailing list,

Please note the following points:

1) If any of you don't want to receive emails posted on the list he/she may
unsubscribe the list by entering his/her email address and push the
Unsubscribe button on the following link:

http://listserv.linguistlist.org/mailman/listinfo/lap

2) And if you want some other relevant persons subscribe the list then the
same above link be used and the same procedure be followed but this time
the Subscribe button would be pushed, of course. Remember the above link is
also usually given in the bottom of emails you receive on this list.

3) Send an email to LAP at listserv.linguistlist.org if you want to share it
with all members of the list. Don't send any abstract or registration
documents or any query regarding any conference to this email ID. Such
emails to this ID are not endorsed and are simply discarded.

4) Don't worry if you receive any call for papers of a literary conference
on this list as, in addition to linguists, many litterateurs of the country
are also members of this list and they don't have any such list of their
own. So, this list is used to disseminate information to those relevant
people in the list. People who have been sending abstracts on literary
studies in ICLAPs in the past may send their work to the LSP international
conference at IIU (http://lsp.org.pk/international-conference-2019/), a
more relevant event for them.

5) Many of you would also have joined the Facebook group of the Linguistic
Association of Pakistan (www.facebook.com/groups/lap.org.pk). Please note
that some very interesting language stuff is posted instead on other
Facebook group pages of LAP's sister/daughter organizations. You may join
those groups too if not already there. Here is a list of those

7) You would be notified vial another email as the Call for Papers for the
5th International Conference of the Linguistic Association of Pakistan
(ICLAP 2019) is announced and published on the website together with other
information, hopefully in a day or two.
