I am writing to inform you about an exciting opportunity to participate in the Bahria University Summer School on Corpus Linguistics, organized by the Department of Humanities and Social Sciences at Bahria University Islamabad. The summer school will take place from August 26-29, 2024, and will be conducted both online and on-site in Islamabad, Pakistan.


This program offers an in-depth exploration of various aspects of corpus linguistics, with sessions led by esteemed trainers from renowned universities. Topics to be covered include:
   
   - Exploring online corpora
   - Corpus building and corpus cleaning (English, Urdu, and other languages)
   - Using a corpus to investigate phraseology
   - Corpus-based approaches to discourse analysis
   - Exploring and analyzing the Urdu corpus
   - Linguistic annotation of the corpus
   - Analyzing sentiments through corpus approaches
   - Exploring metadiscursive features through corpus analysis
   - Analyzing collocation networks, semantic preference, and semantic prosodies
